Setting off with a full bodied beat, West Side Story makes its entrance with a wealth of sounds going on. Like lots of small chapters telling their tales, unusual vocal samples, electronic accents and an unexpected flute appearance are just some of the ingredients that keep this tune on its toes, and allow it to give more when you least expect it. A superbly high impact track.

Next up, Around The Bay creeps in with a hypnotic spin, requisite bassline and some pretty eerie vocals. Whether it’s the lyrics or the spooky tones of the voice featured, this track is an odd offering. However, thanks to being a favourite of Tiefschwarz’s it undoubtedly has a home somewhere deep, down and densely dark in the grimiest of late night clubs, if that’s your bag.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for something a bit more up-tempo, don’t miss the digital bonus where “Planetaria lift things up nicely again”, states DJ mag. I couldn’t agree more – this hidden gem is where the EP really comes into its own as the pace picks up and a looped sequence of horns steal the limelight. Tanking on like a burning fuse, the track continues to race towards the end before fizzling out just at the right time and not a minute before.
